Textura Australasia, a subsidiary of Textura Corporation (NYSE: TXTR), the leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced today that Buildcorp Group, an award-winning builder with an impressive 25-year track record across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, will be implementing Textura-Construction Payment Management (CPM) to manage the subcontractor billing process more efficiently.
Buildcorp is a Sydney-based mid-tier construction company, with annual turnover of $300M. Its services span commercial construction, interiors, refurbishment, remedial building and architectural joinery.
Textura-CPM is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that seamlessly integrates every step of the construction claims process, including progress claims, variation requests, payment schedules, statutory declarations, compliance management and disbursals.
"Buildcorp prides itself on innovation. We see CPM as a major step forward for our business and as a transformative tool for the building and construction industry," said Mark Tonkin, Chief Financial Officer of Buildcorp. "CPM simplifies our claim assessment process and integrates with our accounting system, Jobpac. As a result we will eliminate a lot of paper handling and manual data entry," added Tonkin.
"CPM also helps us work better with our large network of subcontractors," said Tonkin. CPM provides a shared view of the subcontract, work breakdown, and variations to Buildcorp and each of its subcontractors. Accessed through any web browser, CPM reduces disputes and creates efficiency – meaning both sides waste less time on administration. "Ultimately, CPM allows us to focus more of our resources on growing our business and providing a higher level of service to our clients."
"We are thrilled Buildcorp will be using CPM for its upcoming projects," said David Freeman, Director, Client Services, Textura Australasia. "By adopting Textura CPM, they will realise an unprecedented level of efficiency in their claims, variation and compliance management processes, driven by a proven system that has already helped hundreds of builders and thousands of subcontractors."
