Downloading content from the PlayStation®Network just got easier with Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand (SCENZ) announcing the availability of PlayStation®Network Prepaid Cards at major retailers nationwide.

Whilst the PlayStation®Network (PSN) is still free to join and free to play, PSN Prepaid Cards can be used to purchase a wide range of content for your PlayStation®3 (PS3™) and PlayStation®Portable (PSP™) from the PlayStation Store. Available in $30.00 and $50.00 denominations, PSN Cards are a great way to easily add credit to your PSN wallet.

Choose from the latest track on SingStore from Tiki Taane and other New Zealand artists, Expansion Packs for games such as Modern Warfare 2, and a range of content for your PSP such as Digital Comics and Mini games.

You can also use PSN Prepaid Cards to purchase the latest PlayStation Plus subscription which provides premium and exclusive content on PSN.

“Prepaid Cards for PSN are another great way for users to add content to their PS3 and/or PSP. As PSN continues to grow and offer more content, we think it’s important to make accessing this great content as easy as possible’ says Sony Computer Entertainment Director of Sales and Marketing, David Hine.

PSN Cards are an ideal option for gifts for family or friends whether they love SingStar, are dedicated gamers or just like playing something on the go.

PSN Cards are currently available at JB HIFI, Dick Smith, Noel Leeming, Bond & Bond, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Norman Ross.
