Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time™ is here

Thursday, November 5, 2009

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe would like you to don your spacesuit, pick up your omni-wrench and head to the skies for the latest adventure from everybody’s favourite intergalactic heroes Ratchet and Clank.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time™ for PlayStation®3 (PS3™) sees the hot-headed Lombax and his lovable robot pal return to PS3 in a chaotic adventure that’ll stretch your imagination and have the whole family in hysterics. The ideal present for youngsters (and young-minded grownups) this holiday season, it lands in stores today.

Clank has gone missing and it’s down to you – as Ratchet – to rescue him in a quest quite unlike any other.

As well as mastering the art of bouncing bad guys with an array of outlandish weapons like the Groovitron Glove and Omni-Soaker, you’ll also need to master the laws of time to travel backwards and forwards through the ages and find the clues that’ll solve the mystery of Clank’s disappearance – and tie up several of the loose ends from previous Ratchet and Clank adventures.

You’ll battle a colourful cast of new baddies including the zany Dr. Nefarious as well as several old favourites. And - whether you’re detonating crazy devices or trying out a pair of Grav-boots, you’ll never be far from the clever comedy and unusual twists that Ratchet and Clank games are famous for.

This newest addition to the multi-million selling Ratchet and Clank™ franchise is the ninth title across PlayStation®2, PS3™ and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable).  True to its Ratchet and Clank heritage, it’s an action-packed experience for all the family, where wits and gadgets are needed in equal measure to overcome every crazy situation thrown at you.

The perfect gift for the holiday season, Ratchet and Clank:  A Crack in Time puts the future in your hands. It’s out today; find out more at www.playstation.co.nz or www.ratchetandclank.com.
